The Micro-Asterisk Server is a compact appliance built around an embedded, fanless computer system in a rugged extruded aluminum chassis. With a minimum of parts and a low power requirement, reliability is enhanced. The Micro-Asterisk Server can be ordered with one or two 10/100 MHz NICs. Even though the system can be operated as an Asterisk server with a display and keyboard, the single NIC model can run headless in an out of the way environment over the serial COM port. The two NIC model can be ordered with either a COM port or LPT port. The Micro-Asterisk Server model can be ordered with either 512 MB RAM or 1 GB RAM and Trixbox, Elastix or AsteriskNOW software.
